Fee Schedule

Standard Fees

• Travel: $100 per hour R/T plus $0.50 per mile. Tolls and parking at actual cost. Airfare: Actual cost, Lodging: Actual Cost
• Copies: $0.10 per 8.5x11” page (B/W), $0.20 per 8.5x11” page (color).
• Postage: $7.50 minimum for 8.5 x 11 flat parcels up to 2 lbs. Additional charges for larger packages or express service.

Billing/Documentation/Compliance Consulting unrelated to litigation or post-payment matter.

• Per Call ($200/hr - 1/10th hour minimum)*

On-Site Education

Price for On-Site training is $225 per hour plus costs as detailed in "Standard Fees" above.

Compliance

Auditing

Post payment and prospective compliance auditing services are available. Fees for prospective/post payment compliance auditing and preparation of an audit report are $250.00 per hour plus costs as detailed in "Standard Fees" above.

Compliance Planning

Because of the legal issues and complexity of Corporate Compliance, Billing and Reimbursement Compliance or HIPAA Privacy Act Compliance plans, PMI believes they should be prepared by competent and experienced health law counsel. PMI can recommend legal counsel. In cooperation with your health law counsel, PMI can provide benchmark auditing, practice specific risk area assessment and follow-up annual auditing services as well as assistance with compliance program training and implementation.

Expert Witness Testimony

Mr. Miscoe can provide expert witness testimony in civil and criminal false claims cases related to coding, documentation and compliance based on analysis of related documentation. Fees for chart analysis and testimony are $225 per hour costs as detailed in "Standard Fees" above. Prepayment required. Fees for testimony are billed for time on-site and for preparation time.
